On the Way to the Source (e-Book)

This book was written in an effort to provide a useful interpretation of the ideas presented in Alice A. Bailey's and her predecessor Helena P. Blavatsky's book after years of experience with their work. Initially, it took the shape of a website (www.tanacademy.org) in which commonplace events and dreams were addressed in the context of glamours. The material in this book is the outcome of such reflections. Therefore, glamour, or the social deceptions to which human existence is susceptible, serves as its core word. The four expression bodies of the soul (personality, mental, astral and physical) travel a path of study, meditation, and service to an ever-higher level of consciousness. This is significantly influenced by ideas like the Monad, the Seven Rays and the Planes. These components collectively make up the New Psychology's content. Every effort has been made by the authors to ensure that anyone with a keen interest can access this substantial content. The whole is finished with a glossary defining the terminology used and a list of Alice Bailey's writings. The seven chapters that make up the structure are more than simply a visual aid, as color schemes and tables help to clearly summarize and relate the various elements.
